How To (Finally) Have The Confidence To Succeed

My guess is that you read this blog because you know there is something more you can be experiencing in your life. You’re inspired on the inside… you know you have so much more to offer the world, and deep down you know you know that you deserve so much more (cash!) than is showing up in your world right now.

It could be you’re frustrated by a current income barrier.

You may want to start your own business, or get out of your current job. It could even be that you’ve historically done well by most peoples’ standards, out on your own, but you really want to step out and up your game in 2014.

You may even want to raise your rates, or get your first customers, or switch and do something you love, but feel like you’re not qualified or confident enough to charge adequately for what you do…

Whatever the reason, and whatever your goal, the key to generating success in any area of your life (but particularly when it comes to wealth and money) is inner-confidence.

Without it, you’re going to be turning money in the other direction.

With it, you’re an unstoppable money magnet.

You May Think It Is Just The Case Of Knowing How

Now and again I hop onto Skype with people who are frustrated by their results and they want some help in how to get their business rocking.

I love these calls, and I get to speak with some really awesome people, and really make a difference in peoples’ businesses.

Every now and again, though, I end up talking with someone who is on a completely different page. When this happens it’s normally the case that the person believes that the world we operate in is purely the tangible stuff you can touch and see. The problem with this is that these folks believe that if they can just get more strategy or tactics then that is going to suddenly make their project a success.

These guys focus on the “how”.

They’re intent on doing “stuff”, even if they don’t understand why they’re doing it.

They want to be led blindly with a system or a process that will never fail them, rather than understanding what they are doing: rather than stepping up and putting themselves out there without having all the answers from day 1.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I can coach tactics and strategy till the cows come home. But this isn’t the quickest way to make the money you deserve.

What I know from working with hundreds of people is that what you DO contributes only a tiny percentage to the outcome you create.

It’s Not About The Strategy

How you think, feel and vibe (yes, that energetic way that you ARE as woo woo as that sounds) are *WAY* more important than the SEO of your site, or the facebook tactics you use, or the way you word an email to a prospective client.

When you’re vibing right, you’re magnetic: to people, to money, to opportunities.

(Think back to when you’ve been in the presence of someone magnetic – and then tell me their success is only about strategy, or because they’ve got the right colour on their website banner.)

And it’s not that difficult to get to this stage where you vibe at a higher frequency, and can create all the result you want, without the slog, and frustration and failed efforts.

It just takes a bit of focus, and undoing all the emotional baggage, and tangles of thinking, that clog up your unconscious mind. (The unconscious mind being the parts of your thinking that you’re not aware of because you’re so distracted by the busy-ness of your thoughts).

I’ve seen this operate in near-experimental conditions where similar people with similar goals have been given the same formula (both to trade the stock market and to get clients as consultants). In both instances they had the same information and the same system… yet some people would thrive, and be generating results within weeks, whilst others would still be struggling like crazy six months down the line.

I’ve also seen people who were previously struggling, clear a bit of programming and some past traumas, and all of a sudden excel like a business super-star!

Doing More Stuff Won’t Help You

Having more knowledge, whether across the board or detailed about your particularly path, makes very little difference.

Clearing the crap that is keeping you stuck and covering up your natural inner-confidence, that part of you that is truly YOU… THAT is what is going to mean the difference between earning the same as you always have, or being able to have more wealth, success and all round happiness show up in your life.

So, how do you go about increasing your levels of confidence so you can just step out with your intention, and not get caught up and hanging back in the “how”?

Remove The Layers Of Emotional Baggage Faking You Into Thinking You Can’t Just Have What You Want Happen For You. 

Simple.

How?

Letting go of each thought one by one is a great place to start. This is what we do in the Money Mentoring Group.

Basically the human mind is a network (or rather, a tangled mess) of thoughts.

If thoughts are repeated a lot, they form beliefs (which are just more practiced thoughts and assumptions). These thoughts get layered over each other and inter-connected, so that the thinking gets clogged up and tangled. In some ways your mind starts to look like a very old, used brillo pad, where the wires represent thoughts.

What the guys in the mentoring group learn to do is unpick each tangle and let it go… like pulling out one wire of the messy Brillo-pad, one at a time, so they can discard it. Eventually all the tangles disappear and you can think straight.

Not only that, but when you hold in mind an intention, you can create that result with very little effort, because you’re not battling against any number of counter-intentions which zap your energy and make you unsure of yourself. You end up creating more results, in a shorter space of time, and ultimately putting more cash in your bank account than you’ve ever been able to do in the past.
